RIDOT Office on Highway Safety

Rhode Island Office of Highway Safety works hand in hand with RIPCA. The law enforcement community in Rhode Island and the RI OHS share the same agenda: keeping our roadways safe for everyone. RIPCA also worked with RI OHS in implementing the ’10 Year Highway Safety Plan.’

This document is the blueprint for leading our state Toward Zero Deaths, a national effort to cut traffic fatalities and serious injuries in half by 2030. We believe this goal aligns with every road user's goal – to get to their destination safely.
