Rhode Island Office of Highway Safety works hand in hand with the RIPCA. The Police Chiefs of Rhode Island and RI OHS both have the same agenda, and that is to keep our roadways safe for everyone. The RIPCA also worked with RI OHS in implementing the ’10 Year Highway Safety Plan.’
This document is the blueprint for leading our state Toward Zero Deaths, a national effort to cut traffic fatalities and serious injuries in half by 2030. We believe this goal is consistent with the goal of every road user – to get to his or her destination safely.
